serious relationships can be seriously b.s. because in dating everybody puts up a front. when people don't take themselves so damned seriously they end up getting to know the whole of what they're dealing with. it's exactly because there are no expectations that when it does go well, it goes really damned well.
Casual dating is better because you always end up finding some you really enjoy spending time with. If you sit back and only want a serious relationship, chances are you will jump into something that is not right and you will end up unhappy if nothing comes your way. Casual dating also really helps you find out what you really are looking for as well as what you like and don't like. The more you experience the more defined your taste will be. Which really knowing truly what you want is what leads to a happier healthier serious relationship.
