Okay so I seriously haven't had a real boyfriend in two years, I've just kinda been together with guys. And like when I like someone I want to be with them but they don't want to be with me or its in reverse. Its like I either have commitment problems but then I go cry over the fact that I can't that one guy. And when I'm with someone I have a hard time opening up and I don't know why.
You're in high school. Being a guy and having gone through that whole high school age with all my friends (only just recently too haha) I can tell you that just about no guy really has their head on straight in the relationship department, most of them don't even know what they want, and if they DO, they don't know how to go about getting it.
What my advice to you may be is, if you're looking for a substantial boyfriend then go with what marie said, be a little picky. If it doesn't look like things are going anywhere, don't even bother getting them started. Decide what your standards are and adhere to them. There's nothing wrong with being single so use your single time to find someone worth building a relationship with instead of running a crap shoot.
You aren't the only one! Maybe you are falling for guys. Not being too easy. But not exactly seeing the type of person they REALLY are. You should look for a guy who shares the same interests as you, who you are always comfortable around, who you can be best friends with but still be their girlfriend. Be picky but not too picky and just give it time. I hate to say that "you're only 16 give it time" because I used to hate when people said that to me but it's true. You have your whole life to find someone who you love and that loves you back. Don't rush it. Things will work out over time.
