Be honest guys, if a girl is shy, does that turn you off? If so, why? Are you more likely to see a shy girl as unapproachable even if she's a nice girl?
I'm shy, so I understand that it can take a while for a shy person to open up and feel comfortable with new people. It often turns out that shy people are more interesting and offbeat once they've opened up a bit.
So shyness is not a turn-off, unless someone is so shy that talking to them _never_ gets any easier. It can take up a lot of nerve to talk to a girl, but if she's so shy that she seems uninterested after a few conversations, it can be a turn off.
I like shy girls just fine! I seperate shyness fom personality. If she's pretty and a nice person, then she can be shy or outgoing, I don't mind either way.
There is nothing wrong with being shy at all. The only downside with a shy girl, is that sometimes you can't tell how she's feeling. So you don't know if she likes you or not.
And many times if a guy doesn't think a girl likes her, he will just move on. But that is the only downfall of just being shy. Obviously it depends on both people. But if you like a guy, don't be afraid to tell him.
Well it could be depending on the kind of guy. There is a guy I like, and he is very outgoing and kinda like a bad boy type. He has told me several times not to be shy with him when we talk. For him is a turn off I could tell.

Over the years, I probably, like most other men, have been on the receiving end of man-bashing resentments. Nothing quite like women having the gumption in telling me in my face how much I am a loser...
