How can I stop liking him?

I'm going through something a little similar. I currently like this guy and he's a total sweetheart, but he's one of those guys whose nice to everyone you know? Well I currently have seen pictures of the last girl he feel pretty hard for and I'm thinking do I even stand a chance again this girl because whose to say he's over her? You can never help who you like and who you fall in love with. Keep your options open and maybe if he comes around you'll always be able to give it a shot then completely trying to stop liking him, it might just ruin your feelings for him whatsoever. Let things be.

First of all, it sounds like you need to give yourself a little credit. It's not that you don't stand a chance, it's that you are in need of a different person. You want someone who will choose you and recognize how wonderful you are. Second, you need to find something to divert your attention away from him and help you focus on moving on. Are you in any kind of club or sports activity? If not, something like that can help you move on by getting you actively involved in something else that can take your mind off of him. You could also try to focus on picking out other attractive guys and thinking about them a little too. You don't have to get too attached, but just keep an eye out until you feel like maybe he wasn't the only possibility out there. Get involved in something though, whether you are hanging out with your friends more or engaging in a personal project or just reading a couple really great books. It's pretty difficult to just pretend you never had a crush on him, but you can dull the pain a bit until you are ready to move on by staying occupied until your feelings fade and you can look to the future.
