I only ask this question because I'm hanging out with this girl, she's from japan, and she's cuddles with me when she sleeps over and were really close and loves hanging out with me a lot. But she's strictly called me a friend and not like a Boyfriend or anything.
Yet when I'm entertaining girls she seems to come by and playfully beat me up or tickle me or something. So I was wondering, Are there signs that a girl does in front of other girls that claims a guy? If so what are they?

I would say yes she feels attached to you in someway, but I wouldn't say play fighting is a sign of her saying "hey this is my man" It prob is her way of still trying to capture your attention from the other girls though. I would say signs of "hey this is my man " would be coming up grabbing your hand or grabbing you from behind. Kissing you in front of them, calling you baby or some other "pet" name.

Question Asker She has a nickname for me that only she calls me. Also she grabs me all the time, but usually by the shirt, also she loves tickling me. Also now its she asks to ride on my back. Yet she says she's Asexual and wants no sort of relationship, but we cuddle. - 6 months ago
Answerer Hm. Ya. Well I think she def likes you. If you want a relationship with her tell her. If she says no. Then quit talking to her for awhile. She will start missing you if she really likes you and prob want a relationship. She will re -think things! - 6 months ago
Question Asker Id hope you are right, but it just seems like she's so negative that If I give up on her she'll just think its over. She's a girl that trys to be as non girl as possible, Also one time when she slept over I gave her the bed but she followed me. - 6 months ago
Answerer Well hun...ask her out.. obviously you really like her.. ask her to go to dinner something romantic not "friendly" If she says no when you ask her out.. you need to settle as friends and go find some girl that wants to be in a relationship - 6 months ago

She would put her hand on his shoulder when she sees another girl talking to him or she would stand next to him if she sees another girl flirting and she makes that sort of a sly, lazy smile to get through to the girls head that says he's my property!

Question Asker She's done that, but why does she call me just a friend? - 6 months ago
Answerer Maybe she's too shy - maybe she's too out of place in her own skin or maybe she's afraid to tell you that she likes you! - 6 months ago
Question Asker Well she says she's Asexual and has no intention of having a relationship, So I don't know why she's so close to me and yet wants to just call me a friend. - 6 months ago
Answerer All I can say is girls are confusing and like to play with guys, so sorry - 6 months ago

Well I got the same thing going on with this guy we cuddle up every time he gets a chance but he's the one that claims we are friends, but and e ways that girl shouldn't be doing that stuff in front of other girls because its messing up your chance with other girls so she has not right to be doing that stuff especially if she was the one that said that ya are friends ok something that girls do is go talk to you when your with another girl, laugh, touch, and yeah hit so yeah she is claims you as hers well good luck.

I would ask her on her opinion of hanging out vs. A casual dating vs. A serious relationship. And try to get a feel for where you stand from her answer. Girls can be different in each different level. Or with their expectation of what is to happen, and the same for guys, too.

Yes, absolutely. There's no easier way to find out who likes you and who doesn't then by showing up somewhere with a girl on your arm... or just talking about a girl your thinking you might be interested in with another girl... its kinda underhanded, but sometimes you have to be a little pushy or you just end up running around in circles with some girls. Make your interests known to this girl immediately and ask her out... and mention "on a date" when you ask. If she goes for it, great... if she doesn't... ignore her and don't waste any time even talking to her.

Sweetiesweet Agree. Ask her on a DATE meaning take her to a nice dinner. "wow" her a little. Try and sweep her away. - 6 months ago

I have actually heard that this is true.
Most of the time when a girl feels a slight attraction to a guy, they instantly become territorial, even if they aren't aware of it. So they have sub-conscious impulses to instantly show that she is trying for a guy.

Question Asker Then why did she say were just friends? If she doesn't want to be with me why would she claim me? One of my friends said, She's not wanting it to be serious but she doesn't want anyone else to be close to me. Is my friend right? - 6 months ago
Sweetiesweet I claim a guy and I as "best" friends. We have hooked up once. But we are just friends that cuddle now. He goes with other girls but if me and him are out somewhere. He better be with me :) that is human nature to be territorial I think - 6 months ago
