I recently posted a question about going on a date with a guy and not really hearing from him afterwards. Based on the response I got. I figured he just wasn't into me, BUT I went to a gathering and he was there. My first instinct was to avoid the hell out of him. Everywhere he was. I wasn't. I spotted him and went the opposite direction. He came up behind me and pinched my butt I looked back, laughed it off and started talking to his mother. (I 'm cool with his family) He kept coming up to me and talking, like he hadn't dissed me weeks earlier. He was actually kinda annoying. He kept hitting me in the head and stuff. BTW he's older than me. If I wasn't interested in a guy, I wouldn't do these things. I wouldn't want them to confuse my actions. So what's going on with this guy? Was he just toying with me to see if I would be bitter towards him? Why was he acting so immature?

Update: I don't talk to him anymore. I was just wanted more insight on guys

Hmm. I think you need to leave him alone. He sounds immature although he is older than you. Guys mature much later than us girls. It is proven that they are 3 years behind us mentally. He sounds as if he is trying to kind of " yo yo" you and get you chasing after him. Don't fall for this type of guy. He will leave ya just as soon as you start running toward him. Bust his ego and let him be. Go for someone else. You need someone willing to pay attention to you and want to take you out on dates and FOLLOW up :)

SemiShy It's PROVEN that guys are 3 years behind girls mentally?!?
"And if I claim to be a wise man, well
It surely means that I don't know"
This is a quote from a famous song that I believe fits the situation.
Do me a favor and think before you speak please - 9 months ago
Answerer You need to go to college and take some Psych classes. Yes it is proven. I am not knocking males at all. I love males! :) But girls are 3 years ahead of the maturity wise. This is a fact. Once again. I am not knocking males they are what I live for. Ha - 9 months ago
Question Asker Ok but he's 3 years older than me so we should be at the same level then right? - 9 months ago
Answerer Yeah you should be on the same level as him. Unless you are mature for your age or he is immature for his. Those are possibilities. - 9 months ago
SemiShy Yeah, I did some research and apparently your wrong. First of all, My sister is in SF state's freshman psych class and I asked her to ask her professor. She got laughed at because the statement was so absurd. I also looked at multiple websites and none of them said that men were 3 years behind girls mentally. I really do think you need to stop talking before you embarrass yourself even more. - 9 months ago
Answerer Nope not embarrassed. Because it is the truth. - 9 months ago
Question Asker I'm sorry, but my boyfriend is a psych major and she confirmed the men are behind women maturity wise. I have heard such a thing as well in some of the psych classes that I have had to take. It makes sense in my case because the guy is three years older than me, but instead of him being the bigger person or acting in a more mature manner than I. He was right on my level which was not what I expected from him at all. - 9 months ago
