I like him more than a friend. But does he likes me the same way as I do?

We do everything together, having meals, going shopping, studying,. Basically around each other most of the time. We hangout at each other's place almost everyday, mostly in my room. Sometimes we would fight over something, start wrestling each other and end up in a his-arms-around-me position.

I do not know if he acts this way just because we are comfortable with each other as friends. We can do embarrassing/rude things in front of each other and still be laughing crazily without any sign of awkwardness. He also tells me his problems, his likes/dislikes, his own future plans (which doesn't seem to work well with mine).

Guys out there, are these things you would do to a girl you like? What do you think his actions mean? Someone really has to help me here. I do not want to scare him off and lose a very good friend.

Hmmm

You have to ask yourself some questions and be honest about your answer

Are you two physically compatible?
Are you two of at a similar fitness/physicall level?
Are you two of a similar attractiveness level?

If not, he may just like talking to you and hanging out as a friend only - but don't dispair - your friend can help introduce you to guys that are into you and you can help with chicks - you could turn this into a win-win situation down the road - tread with care

You may be able to break the ice here and ask him. So who do you have a crush on?

Or maybe you could say

Blah. There's this hot guy that's into me but I just don't know,
pause
your not into me right, or are you?

This lets him say what he feels, because he won't feel as bad about rejecting you because you already mentioned an outside interest. If he is interested, it will push him to express his feelings for you due to the competition element of the other guy.

Tread carefully here.

In my opinion, he is either gay or in love with you. (Or, at least, has a serious infatuation).

When I was that age, I was capable of just being buddies with girls because I had turned off all my raging sexuality (cause I couldn't figure out what else to do with it). So you've got a great relationship friend-wise. But there's no way to know from your description how he feels without just asking him. How will *you* feel about *him* if he says he only just wants to be friends with you? Once you're comfortable answering *that* question, asking him'll be a lot easier.

Please pardon my assumptions, since I don't know you, I can't know if this is totally obvious to you or not, but people can be funny about how they view sexual relationships. There are many men (thank the goddess that *I* don't know any of them) who think that a woman should either be a friend or a "lover" and that "lovers" have to exhibit certain specific qualities and traits (such as being subservient or less capable or something equally vile). It sounds like you know this guy well enough that this won't be a concern, but I mention it because you just never know what even a close friend thinks about how their partner should behave if you're not their partner, ya know? Be careful. And Good Luck!!

Oh, If I did those things, It means that I am definitely interested. I wouldn't be going to a girl's house and wouldn't be inviting her to my house everyday If I didn't have feelings for her. You should definitely either tell him how you feel about him or give him some signs that you are interested in more than just a friend. The longer you wait, the more he'll start seeing you as a friend. Act now!
