Well hmmm were should I start well ok this guy I've liked since january has been giving me all the signs he flirts he teases and everything else. Well his ex girlfriend found out that I liked him and she was asking me about it and I've been trying to get over him and she asked me if I liked him when I said no she didn't believe me then she started talking about when they were dating well today in class she was talking to 1 of her friends and he asked her if the guy I like has asked her out and she said no but she said she knows he likes her, and well I think he likes her to but he said he wasn't going to go out with high schoolers because of all the drama and well she's probably one of the most dramatic people in our school. She told me that she wouldn't ever go out with him if he asked her out again but when her friend asked her if he asked her out she made sure that I was able to hear her answer which was "no but I guess he told someone that he was going to and if he does I'm going to say yes" why is it that he's been flirting with me for the past couple of weeks and now he's not even interested in me. I mean this girl isn't even pretty on the inside or out. How is it that he can go from me to her in a matter of days? And I know that she is just using him so that she can go to prom. And I want what's best for him and I know that she could care less about how she treats him is it normal for me to feel this way? And I don't want him to get hurt again because I can't stand to see one of my friends to get hurt.

Update: Well this guy ended up asking her out I'm so ticked off at him it's not even funny and he knows I'm ticked cause he tried giving me a high 5 in school but I ignored him why did he wait for so long for her to make up her mind on how she felt about him? 9 months ago

I think that she is making all of this up just to make you jealous. Why not ask him about it. If he says he was going to ask her then ask him why he played with your emotions like he did. I know how you feel the same thing happened to me but he actually did date the girl and it really sucked for me and I'm still trying to get over it.
