So there`s this guy that goes to my school, he's 18, and I like him a lot. Problem is we've never talked, not an actual conversation, just small talk. But barely ever!
He found out I liked him, I feel like the only reason everyone knows is because he's been telling everyone about it, like he's proud. He also stares at me way too much. We'll have heavy eye contact and he doesn't seem to look away. I always catch him staring at me first! It's like he wants me to see him staring. Sometimes when we're staring at each other, he'll either smile or he's have a confused look on his face (hard to explain). I also noticed that when he's with a group of friends, they'll all look at me. I don't talk to any of his friends so I feel like their making fun of me, but it doesn't bother me. Sometimes he also moves away from his group of friends, I'm guessing so I'll be easier to notice him? When I'm chilling with my friends, they'll tell me that he's staring. When my sister was hanging around me, she was totally freaked out she kept telling me "Oh my gosh, he's staring at you and he's not looking away! " He was talking with this girl but it was weird because instead of looking at her, he had his full attention on me, they both did, they were facing us. When I walk down the halls and he's coming from the opposite direction, when I look at him, he'll already be looking at me, and then he'll look away(not smiling). Or he'll smile. When I`m finished from class, he'd use the same steps, so I used to hang around and he'll be coming down, staring at me! Also the other way around. One day I decided to stand on the other side of the room, and when he came down, he was like looking around for me, it was funny! When I talk to girls in my class, it's like he tries to eavesdrop to see if I'm talking about him. When I talk to guys, he stares at me. Why does he stare so much?
Sometimes I think he 'll randomly say "Hey, what's up? " to me, but I have bad hearing so I'm not sure and I don't answer back, or I'm not looking at him.
I remember we had this date game at a retreat where we had to choose who we wanted to get to know better and set a time with that person, and I remember he came up to me! =)
Randomly, he asked my sister if I had a boyfriend or if I liked this other guy (a guy he seen me sitting beside in class).
Also, when I`m at work, and we're not busy, he never tried talking to me. Instead he'd look elsewhere and ignore me (when I'm beside him) but when I`m far away, he'll notice me. It's so weird.
Sounds like he has no idea how to approach you, and is wanting absolute proof that you won't say no when he does. So, if you like him. Smile when you look at each other and say hi!
