I'm trying to stop obsessing over a girl and trying to make sure that we just stay friends since I think that's all that we are ever going to be. I used to constantly chase her around and revolved TOO much around her. So I've decided to not go to where she is anymore and I'm not going to start conversations. I'm not sure if she still likes me or not but sometimes my gut tells me that she does. How long should it take her to start chasing me around and "trying to revolve around me" if she actually does like me but I just see her as a friend
If you suddenly stopping appearing around her or starting conversations, she may think you are no longer interested in her, assuming she knew you were interested before. I probably wouldn't really attempt to chase a guy if that happened to me because I would think he had found someone else and was no longer interested in me. So, be careful doing that or you may send the wrong message. Do you WANT her to just see you as a friend? If so, then keep avoiding her most of the time. Too much and she'll think you don't even like her as a friend anymore though.
