I'm currently talking to a guy who constantly makes jokes about us "having sex" or playing "strip poker" but next minute he's telling me he's not really looking for a girlfriend. How can I tell if he's just really flirtatious with girls or does he perhaps like me.
And does insulting a girl "secretly" being flirty? Because he made a comment to me "You should call me later if you're bored enough to die so I can laugh at you"
I just can't tell if I should have feelings for him or just focus on friends and only friends.
He just wants to have sex with you. It's pretty apparent. He finds you attractive, but not relationship material. If he was into you, he'd most likely tell you. He's insulting you because that makes you want him more. He's playing games with you. When a guy is a jerk to you, it makes you wonder "why is he being so mean to me? What's wrong with me? " so you try harder for this guys affection, which is exactly what he wants you to do. He wants you to keep going after him, until you eventually give in and have sex with him and he gets what he wants.
He's not looking for a girlfriend, he's looking for a FWB. A lot of truth is said in jest. If a guy is always joking about having sex with you, he's at least thinking about it and he wants it to happen. I think you shouldn't have feelings for him because they won't be returned in the way you'd like.
