Ok, so. I've found that I'm always pretty confident and outgoing talking to guys (or strangers in general) when I'm around my close girlfriends. However, if I'm in a class alone with no friends to talk to, it's suddenly way harder for me to make a peep and get to know people. I'm not sure if it's my self esteem or not - I don't think I'm unattractive, so I'm not sure how much this has to do with it or not.

Does anyone have any advice on how to raise my confidence/self esteem level when I'm somewhere by myself so I can talk to people?

What types of things do I say to them?

How can I successfully flirt with someone I don't know when I'm so shy by myself?

I'm starting to get frustrated with my lack of friends/potential guys at school.
