I can sort of answer my own question by simply saying I'm too much of a pussy to bring myself to turn the conversation/gestures in a sexual direction . The problem is that I don't know how to initiate, I just stall, nervously waiting for her to give me some sort of 'obvious' sign . What I wanna know is do girls typically look for the guy to make the first move ? And what signs should I be looking for that say either come closer, or don't stand so close to me ? I know there are plenty of girls out there (and I've dated a couple) who will be pretty obvious about it, but I find myself these days to be more attracted to girls who aren't so 'extroverted' .

I say, go for it . Some women think too much about the consequences of their actions, but for good reason . She very well may to jump your bones too . So, she may be waiting for you to get it started . In that case start with a kiss, a touch, etc . If she doesn't stop you or object, then you're in !

Generally speaking, I'm pretty sure most girls still want guys to make the first move (I do) . The thing is there usually aren't any really obvious signs especially when the person is a little on the shy side . If you're not sure about whether or not she likes you there's always the old dilated pupil method which will at least tell you if she's physically attracted to you .
If she really didn't want you around you probably wouldn't have been able to miss that so I'm thinking you probably have a decent chance at the outcome you want . Confidence is key !

If she is dating you, and over at your house instead of spending time with her friends or what have you . Then you're already in there . She might not want to have sex, but if she likes you, then she will let you know without crushing your self esteem . Women want sex as well as men . Not always for the same reasons, or at the same speed, but they want it .

Just remind yourself that she is in a relationship just the same as you . You both want to be with another person to fulfill some needs you have . Just find out what each other's needs are and communicate .
