I was just reading another thread where this guy was being a sexist ass and I was pleasantly surprised that a lot of guys were more than happy to stick up for girls in general and tell him where to go
I'm not saying that we need defending or protecting at all but its a nice feeling when it happens and there's no ulterior motive
So why does this not happen in everyday life? Are guys only willing to stand up for what's right in writing?
There is little to no risk in writing. You stand up for a girl that the guys is being a jerk to, you get in to trouble, and the girl sticks up for the dirt bag. Or you stick up for the girl and she then uses you.
In a nutshell, why be a nice guy when 9 out of 10 times you’re going to get treated like a dirt mat?
Going by your assumptions that's easy - because of girl number 10 i don't know what kind of girls guys are spending time with to get views like this, obviously not the right ones - 2 months ago

You should let him asking you out. Yes I agree with the other guys about you asking him out because you said no. but the thing is you change it up by asking him out, men are from mars deal. You need to do a guys cop out like giving the girl your number to have her call you. Anyway just tell him that your free and you can cash in that rain check, on that time to hang out. - 2 months ago

Im just saying that it is not often that you see girls that need help that can stand up for them selfs. But the girls that can't stand up for them self attach to the one that is abusing them, and take there side. - 2 months ago
I've noticed very few guys that do the right thing. I like to only keep in the company of those who do, and believe me... I've said goodbye to several of my guy friends for not sticking up for me. However, there are nice guys out there ... we just tend to overlook them. I found out (recently) that a guy was actually flirting with me over a long period of time (yet I just mistook this for him being nice, and a good friend). If you are anything like me, you are not used to being treated right ... and when someone does... you assume that they want nothing more than friendship.
As a note, after writing my article, I came across a similar one called “Nice Guys Finish Last = Fallacy, Passive & Deceptive Guys Finish Last” by the user NMMan--you might consider this the female...
Isn't that one of the weirdest things about guys, that being our tendency to never want to ask for help or ask for directions when we're lost? Yes, I admit it, we do get lost at times. So what's the...
