Lexy, remember you have the advantage. You are the lady. Wait for the moment to present itself, and then...do not ask him for the hug, just hug him. Rare is the boy who will not accept a warm hug from a lady.
And in this hug, you will know if he likes you, believe me. If this boy likes you, you will feel him respond. Just remember, at your age, you are more mature than the boys around you. (Trust me, I have been married forever, and I was once your age, too).
