What are ways to tell if a guy just thinks you're a good friend or if he might like me? Here's the basic outline I've known him since November of last year and around January he's just become really open with me, well I have to bring something of the matter up and he'll tell me about a similar situation with him that's happened and he explains why it made him feel that way, why he doesn't like it, etc. I get the vibe that he may like me, but I'm not sure. I just want to know some ways that can differentiate between liking me or just friends.
Number one. Most guys are not into having a good looking girl as just a friend. In fact maybe none are that way. Minus the gays. Even then they don't like to be bothered by girls asking them about guys in case they understand how they think. Anyway. Well you have to ask yourself do you see him act differently around you than others. Especially girls. And now you need to pay attention to the way he flirts. The only thing you can do is analyze him. How often does he text you? Does he call you a lot? Does he like seeing you a lot? Does he take you places? You aren't giving me much to go with here but statistically he thinks about you romantically and face it. Sexually.
Well if he ever play hits you or anything like that he does like you but also guys don't open up to just any friend they open up to the ones who are closer he must like you and the play hitting thing is only if he has trouble expressing himself a way to find out if he likes you is to pretend to like another guy and tell him about what you like about them and if he disapproves of the guy then he wants you to himself and if he is distant than he wants you but he thinks he lost his chance. any other response should mean he doesn't care that way.
That makes it a lot more clear. By any chance could you tell me why he just opened up to me within 3 months it's taking a lot of my good friends about at least 6 months before we actually opened up with each other and with him it happened so quickly, that's why I was surprised because I wasn't used to that. - 9 months ago
