What do you guys do when you like a girl? Or Girls, what do you notice that guys do when you know they like you? If you can, give me a gradient ... like.. what you do to a girl who is just a friend, a girl who has potential, and a girl that you actually like.
The guy I like and I were sitting next to each other at a restaurant with some friends and his thigh and my thigh were touching. Neither of us moved away. And once the people next to him left, he didn't budge and we kept talking as if nothing was amiss. Is this a sign that he likes me, or it just so happened? I'm getting a lot of mixed signals from him >.<
Well, I'd say to start with it depends on the type of guy he is, if he is touchy feely 'hug every time we meet' type guy, then he'd probably take touch like that as a pinch of salt. However, from my perspective (someone who doesn't really go out of his way to hug every single person I see and whatever all that nonsense is), when I am with a girl I like as more than just a friend, I do make an effort to touch their arms or stuff when sitting next to them (not in a weird way, but giving them a nudge or tapping them or w/e). About the legs under the table, I speak for myself but I'd imagine boys tend to like that kind of contact, and unless I felt like I was 'in their space' as such, I certainly wouldn't move away if it was a girl I liked.
The gradient you were after, well it really does depend. You surely know the type of guy who desperately walks round hugging every girl he can see, or at least, every girl who he is remotely attracted to. I'd say if he was that kind of guy, contact is never a bad thing, it means they at least like being around you. But if your guy is the shy type, or just not desperate like the former, I'd assume that he was making an effort to make contact.
That's pretty much all I can say just from thinking about stereotypes and people I know, maybe it's not what you wanted, but it's my opinion.
