What would you girls classify for you as sweeping you off your feet?

What immediately comes to mind is. Spontaneous, passionate, and caring.

Though really, I think its getting caught up in the guy's pace and personality. The idea of a passionate kiss where the rest of the world falls away and all that's left is you and your partner. The girl is getting swept up in her emotions.

Love, and sex and all things related thereto are largely mental for us girls. So "getting swept off our feet" is very much a mental metaphor.

He really doesn't have to do anything extravagant or big. It's when something small happens that I know is meant just for me and nobody else. Every time my boyfriend holds me, runs his fingers through my hair, or kisses me passionately it feels like it's just the two of us in our own little world. Far away from any problems or stress, just the two of us and our love. That to me, is the best feeling ever and I consider that being swept off my feet.

Basically, doing something so caring/thoughtful that she knows you did it just for her to make her happy. Not buying anything expensive or going anywhere extravagant. It's not about the money, but the time and thought put into it. Showing her how much she means to you.

If a guy went out and picked me a bouquet of wildflowers -- especially the teenie ones where it would take a BUNCH (and lots of TIME) to make a significant bouquet -- I'd be a smitten kitten for sure. Picking wildflowers isn't very manly. Picking a LOT of wildflowers, even less so. But, it will pay off with dividends. Just make sure your heart is in it. Many of us know when we're being played/manipulated.

The guy I'm nuts about made HOMEMADE soup when I was sick. (He also called me THREE times while at the doctor's office and a couple of times each night just to check on me. ) When he brought me some soup, it was still PIPING HOT, which means he didn't even stop to eat any first. A genuinely sweet/caring gesture. He lives a little over 10 miles away. THAT clinched it for me. Smitten. Too bad for him if it was just a friendly gesture. I'm hooked. Just gotta tell him now.

Some things my ex would do to " sweep me off my feet" were. Picking me up and surprising me with a trip to Carmel (it's a small town on the coast of california) and when we would go for walks together he would just spin me and start dancing with me in the middle of the street. It could be something as simple as having everything around the house done by the time I got home, or surprising her with something she said along time ago that she wanted to do. Just remembering things she's said in the past will make her think " wow, he actually remembered that" and that's a good start.

Good ways a guy can "sweep" off your feet is to meet your parents and listen to their boring stories about you, he spontaneously hugs you for no reason, he goes out of his way when your PMSing or having your monthly, he sticks up for you if anyone says anything mean/cruel about you, he tries to get along with your siblings/friends no matter how annoying they might be, he helps you out without you even asking. Basically he knows how to be a good guy. And he does it all with genuineness and modesty. He just a naturally helpful guy who respects you and admires you.
