Ah one of my favorites, I tend to do this a lot intentionally. Even though I don't want every girl to know this, but I do this when I want to get the girl worked up and kind of make her prove why she should have my attention. I don't full on ignore the girl, I just give her less attention. If he is full on ignoring you then he's either way to nervous to actually talk to you, he thinks your annoying, he doesn't know you well enough, or just doesn't know what to say.
