I have a guy friend that others say likes me. Yet, when we went out in a group to a dance party, he started talking about how he wished this girl he wanted didn't have a boyfriend, because he really wanted to be with her. This was the first I ever heard of him talk about any girl like that. He usually flirts with me too, but this night, he was touching and flirting with the other girls. When we danced, he didn't put his hands on me like he did the other girls, but would watch me when I danced with other guys. He asked our mutual friend who the hell the guy was I was dancing with. Also, our mutual friend asked if he liked the other girl he was talking about boyfriend and he said no.
Later, we were playing a game and he looked at me twice and smiled. He also got into how he wants to go far in life and marry a hot wife and have children that will be musically inclined like him or whatever. Now, today he didn't say a word to me when a friend and I went to his place also he ignored my text to him. One time, knowing he watched One Tree Hill (my fav show), I asked when new episodes came on and he said, "How would I know? Only gay guys watch it". What is up with him; he is being a jerk now?
Don't worry about it. If he's being a jerk then don't waste your time. Any guy worth your time won't be that way - he'll be kind, honest, up-front and will respect you enough to not be a jackass.
