I know this guy and I really like him and tried to show him and he also knows that I have a thing for him cause my friend which also his friend told him. So I've been trying to show him that I have thing for him for like months now and him, his just being shy which is totally true cause his a really shy and quiet person.

Then one day I kinda just gave up and got tired trying so I stop trying to catch his attention and tried to forget about him then weeks later whenever I pass by him he starts talking to my friend(my guy friend which also his friend) or he says hi to him and looks at me, and usually when we pass by to each other he just looks straight or looks down but this past few weeks his been giving me that eye to eye thing. And I don't understand what's he trying to say. And one time we were passing by the hall. I didn't have a choice but to look at him and we had a awkward and long eye to eye contact it was weird. So now what do you think is going on. Is he just shy and just wants me to the first move or just paranoid?

By the sounds of this guy,I don't think he's gonna make any kind of moves anytime soon,
the best thing to do is approach him and ask him out ,something fun and simple like mini golf,or pizza and a movie, maybe the change in environment will give him some courage, don't confess anything to him yet. It might scare him, just focus on having a good time ,you should be able to get your answers based on the date
