Let me describe he guy I like a little bit. I have known him since we were little, we went to elementary school together and have gone to school together ever since. We used to be pretty good friends in the 1st grade, but I don't think he really remembers that. Over the years he has done a lot of flirty stuff, especially last semester. My mom always said he liked me. Now, he is athletic and I am not. Basically we are opposites, but we get along great whenever we talk which isn't much anymore since we have no classes together this semester. But anyway he is pretty social. Well around his friends at least. I wouldn't describe him as shy. But if he does like me the only way he shows it s by looking at me and doing stuff like that but he never seems to talk to me. Would a guy who seems pretty social be shy around someone he likes, even though we know eachother a long time? I am shy around him but I am more shy than he is.

Hey girl - what's your name btw? ;)

I can say I'm a social guy and I have had many friends (girls&boys) since I was young.
But there was that ONE girl I really liked and I was very shy when talking to her.
And I know many guys who have been trough the same thing.
Most boys are shy around a girl the like or love much even if you don't recognise it.

Try to get in contact with him and make something together (doesn't need to be a date, something friends do).
Make some of those signs of interest girls usually show when liking a boy.
If he doesn't make a step towards you, this is the only way to find out what he thinks about you.
You could also ask some of his friends, maybe this helps, too.

If you've got more questions or want to explain the situation more clearly, email me: zyne-zone@web.de
I'm no native so ignore my bad english :P

Everyone can be shy.
but about your question yes a social guy can fall for a shy girl what gives you more points is that you knew each other and ya talked right? But yup I say yeah he might make it seem like he talks to everyone but I know some people get shy at the time in my case I had a football player and I was not social with everyone turns out he was scared of me good luck
