For example, I'm about 5ft 11in and weigh somewhere between 170-180 lbs. Basically, I sort of have the male equivalent of a muffin top. For guys like me, does that put us in the same category as the 400 lb guys, or...?
That is a totally fine height/weight ratio. You probably just need to tone up (get muscles). You don't need to muscle up; just do about 40 minutes of weight training four times a week and you will look great in a few weeks. Stop worrying!
Fine with me :-) I think perfect guys are really intimidating. Especially in the bedroom. I could never be with a perfectly fit guy, I'd be scared he'd think I should be in the gym the whole freaking time too... Next to that a bigger guy is great to cuddle with and I feel more protected by a bigger guy, which is nice too :-)
For your height you should weight about that much, but if you got a little bit of a belly and want to work it off, just eat right, exercise, or just don't even worry about it. If anyone says anything just say whatever don't be jealous. But as far as women go dude they really don't care unless your way over weight. But if they do say something just say ya maybe I should cut back on the beer.
In my opinion you have an ideal weight/height ratio. If you feel you're a little on the chunkier side get your ass into a gym and turn your fat into muscle. You could easily have the body most women want. Consider yourself lucky.
