High school sucks! :) A guy who could be classified as a nerd in one school could be considered stud in another. After hs I don't think girls choose guys based on what they would be considered when they were in hs. Sorry you had to deal with us when we were even more bitchy than we are now.

Tons of 'dorky' guys are with hot girls when they hit their twenties and thirties. CHIN UP!

i sure have. girls should never write a guy off when in highschool. guys get better looking with age, especially since they physiologically change the most from the ages of 18-25yrs and the guys who were smarter in highschool often end up having the better jobs than the duller guys who were more interested in runnng around a football field and hooking up with girls.

Lol YES! I love it when it happens too! This guy who I currently go to college with..and who I'm totally crushing on..was goofy/nerdy looking in high school (I've seen old pics..they are pretty funny). And now, as a junior in college, he is gorgeous. And his scrawny little frame from high school is now toned with a six-pack. He is a girl's dream..but still too shy to realize it. Which makes him that much cuter!

hey I do actually he was one of my best friends. I have been friends with him since the 8th grade. he was very dorky glasses bad style everything. and very short. then after we got into high school I changed everything and all the girls were over him I think its so funny how shallow girls can be but I was friend from the beginning. we stopped talking because I later dropped out and was heavily into drugs but at one time he did have everything and I guess girls still think he's amazing .

i know that the biggest crush I ever had (lasted from 4th-12th grade) was on a nerd who played the trombone and had a big head.

the guy I'm seeing now was a total dork in high school! I saw pictures too.
he was tall, skinny and really really awkward looking. now he is gorgeous. he definitely is the most attractive guy I know in real life. he's been working out for 2 years so he earned it and the cocky attitude he got with the look.

i went to school with this guy, he was on the football team but was considered nerdy. he didn't party that much and he always got made fun of for bringing his books home and studying. he wasn't really ugly but the girls didn't like him and he wasn't "cool". they even made up a mean nickname about him because he stuttered a little bit. he didn't get that much respect. I got to know him and he had a really good heart. well fast forward 3 years later (he graduated before me) and he is a popular football player at a major university, I saw his Facebook and he gets a lot of girls, he's super buff and he's successful. I talked to him a while ago and I think he majors in like chemical engineering. meanwhile most of the guys who picked on him are in jail and have a few baby mamas. so goo anthony, I'm really proud of him.

i was also the fat ugly girl that didn't have the latest clothes and my hair was never done. I had 1 guy who was gonna go to prom with me but he dumped me last minute because he was embarrassed of me and I had to get a pity date from my cousin, the other time I got asked out for a joke in front of everyone. so I didn't have the best time either. I busted my ass working out and lost 60 pounds since high school, got more confident and learned about how to dress and be more feminine. I even get hit on by a lot of the guys who used to make my life miserable but I just reject them all. I won't give the time of day to a guy that used to be cruel to me. like mike jones said "back then they didn't want me now I'm hot they all on me" lol

i was miserable in school like a lot of other people were but all the sh*t I went through gave me inner strength and made me the woman I am today. there were times I would hide in the bathroom and be afraid to go to class because I didn't want to be mocked in front of everyone and hear the new latest joke about me. now I can walk in any room and feel confident. I'm kinda glad I wasn't one of those girls that was always pretty even though I had to go through some ugly things. whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

There was a guy who graduated a year after me who was kind of dorky in high school. He was a really sweet guy, and there was definitely something endearing about him. Not the best looking guy out there, but not bad looking either. You might not have been interested in him at a glance, but if you sat down and talked to him, that could easily change. Anyway, I recently found him on Facebook, and he's freakin hot now, so yes, it's possible. I hope he's still dorky though, and if that means that he's not the "ultimate guy", I hope he never becomes the ultimate guy, because there was nothing wrong with him back in high school.

Um yeah - my hubby. We went to different high schools and I was the athlete, honor student, popular chick. He says he was dork and that I wouldn't have had anything to do with him in high school. Whatever - my motto now is 'Dorks will inherit the Earth!" My hubby and I are now hot, rich and have a healthy life. He is definately my ultimate guy! Hang in there man - there's a hottie out there for you who will absolutely worship you too!

Ok well when I was in junior high there was this kid. He was chubby and short and weird. He was into the punk rock scene but did not wear it well, horrible dye jobs that washed out too fast, bad trench coat thing on the go, etc. I left that school in Grade 9, and last I saw him was about 6 months ago at a party, so...7 years later I guess...he is hot. Tall. Built. Really handsome. I didn't know who he was! He was kind of insulted by that at first, until I told him he looked hot lol.

well I don't know any guys like that but I was one of those people, I moved to the states sophmore year I was such a nerd with a huge backpack and precal books and all that and I didn't even wear make up the most I wore in high school was a gloss or looking good for presentation, I was shy awkward, hung out with other nerds, my brother was a freshman when I was a senior he was kinda not too proud of me and his friends made fun of him because he was so cool and yet his older senior sister is a nerd and no attractive
fast forward a year later I was checking him out of the school because we were moving everyone was looking at me and asking me if I was a new student and all that stuff because I went back in an amazing dress with nice heels nice hair and nice make up , my brother friends were all like whos that chick with you and no one knew me
and at my college I see people I used to to go to hs with they don't even know me and honestly I don't want to remember them, because they were so superficial and judged me based on my looks they didn't bother to know that I was a nice and sweet person and helped most of those loser in their classes but now I just look at that as a part of my past I'm a whole new person , I'm still nice but I only for those who talk to me for who I am not how short my skirt is, and I think I'm still nerdy lol so yea ...

One of my friends was really chubby in high school and would always complain to me how he couldn't get a date. Now we're in our junior year of college and he dropped 40 lbs and has girls all over him. So yes, it definitely happens

People can and do change after High School. I have definitely known guys that were considered hot in High School that turned into nightmare disaster losers. One guy who was a really hot, blonde, buff surfer dude continued his womanizing ways after school doing things like sleeping with other women while his pregnant fiance we preparing for their wedding the next day. His partying ways that seemed so cool in High School ended up being alcoholism and all his good looks faded because of his heavy drinking. I know other stories as well.

The opposite is true too. There are famous stars who talk about being a total geek in High School but grew into their own after. I think in school everyone is in to looks and perceived coolness, but after school it is about how successful you are over time with college and a career. Especially for guys, a great career and being financially stable as you progress into your late 20's and in to your 30's is a very attractive quality at the point that a lot of women are looking for a partner that would make a good husband and father, rather than just Mr. Cool.

Chances are, if you are really ugly looking in highschool, a couple more years won't change much...unless like they become rich, then all of a sudden they are hot.
