There is this girl I'm really jonesing for. She intelligent, confident, independent, positive, and beautiful. I've had a few conversations with her, but they just stopped. I don't know what's going on or what to think. Is she testing me or is she not interested? I don't believe I said anything offensive to her. I did tell her that I thought she was extremely interesting and gorgeous. When I asked her what her major was in school, she stopped answering me. I even asked her if I did something wrong, and she still hasn't answered. I've never been in this situation before, and I'm stumped on what to do. Should I leave her alone or should I still pursue her?
Mmmm. Interesting. You did not ask her any implicating or nosy questions - you simply asked her some 'open ended' friendly questions (so no problems there). Unless she responds in the next couple of days, then take it as she is not interested. It could be possible that she is busy or hasn't had much time to respond. So, yes do give her a bit of time. Don't send her any further messages - give some opportunity to answer the ones you have sent her now. Fair?
Try to pursue her and press if something is wrong. if she still gives you the cold shoulder after a couple of attempts, then you should probably give up

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
Depending on the setting: Start talking about something relevant to where we are, then ask about herself then talk about me a little bit, make a joke, then ask her to go somewhere like Starbucks. If all goes well perhaps ask her out on a date (If all goes reeeally well!!! - I'm a bit shy )
How do they typically respond?
50/50 sometimes good, sometimes bad. Although sometimes they think I'm just being friendly...how do I fix that...
