Guys: When you REALLY like a girl, and you think she might like you back - how fixated are you by her? If you think you have a good chance with her or she might be the right one for you are you totally focussed on her until you get her or are you easily distracted by someone else and easily forget her if it doesn't happen soon?
If I REALLY like a girl, and this has happened to me, I would dream of being with her night and day. The only thing I see is HER. no other girls will cross my mind. But I noticed that I can stay interested for a long period of time only when the girl I like continues to show interests in me. And the reason why we're not together is that both of us are to shy to make a move =) I guess I'm an unusual guy cause most of my guy friends aren't like this. Their infatuation time is brief and they can move on fast. Not only that, they have several girls on their mind. I tried to do what my friends do by thinking about other girls so I can get over my crush fast, but for some reason I just can't do it. The feeling was to strong. guys have feelings to! now you know
I don't know about other guys, but I know I can get really fixated to the point where it affects my work, school, and basically everything. And yes, If I see the slightest chance, I will do everything I can to make something happen between me and her and during that time period of fixation, the most I'll notice about another girl would just be something that will quickly disappear and be completely forgotten.
Yeah but what if you have a girlfriend already, but you really like this other girl. Will you still be fixated on the new girl? Cause don't tell me guys aren't always checking out the newest chick on the block, even if they aren't single. - 8 months ago

Well, I try not to pay too much attention. I'm a really moral type of guy, and yes, I've had instances where I kinda fixated on a new girl a little while I'm in a relationship. But I usually try really hard to get my mind off of the girl. Now I know guys who doesn't do this, but guys value emotional bonds too. And as long as he's not an absolute player or something, he shouldn't be too fixated - 8 months ago
