Are you telling me that his "girlfriend" is 12 o. O that's kind of shocking anyways, I'm sort of in a similar situation myself where I'm falling for my ex's best friend (except I'm a guy and her boyfriend's the same age as us but a bit of a jerk). Just continue to spend time with him. He should eventually realize that he have a better time with you and let go of his girlfriend. He have to realize this for himself and take action. So just continue making contact with him and be patient.
