I have a potential boyfriend and I just met him the other day. When my friend introduced us, he smiled really big at me and started waving. We didn't get to talk. He acted so nervous around me that he couldn't even look at me. When I noticed him staring, he would look down really quick. Then there were moments he stood close by I guess as a sign for me to go talk to him. Does all this mean he likes me?
Almost definitely, yes. And likely he's painfully shy.
Just hang out around him, be calm, and eventually he'll manage to get enough blood away from his cheeks and to his brain to say something. It helps if you can manage to ease into a conversation he's already having, or ask him about something he feels confident about/knows well.
Think of it a bit like convincing a skittish puppy to come over to you. :)
Seems like he's really into you!! If I were you I would talk to him first make an interesting conversation with him. While having a conversation with him put your hand on his shoulder or touch is back or arm. Sometimes that gives guys signals that your open so they won't be so afraid to talk to you.
