I have a class with this guy who def shows interest and flirts, we sit together all of the time, but when it comes time to leaving, he always darts. He never just hangs out and talks. He doesn't go anywhere after class, so I'm not sure what it could be? Its basically us flirting and stuff in class than when were leaving the buildings its "okay see ya". It makes me so confused!

Maybe he is shy, classes are "safe" environments to try the waters ya know?. A little bit of flirting but its not the kind of place where things can get carried away and at the end of it you can just dart because no-one made any solid plans to meet up, no expectations are there.

This sounds eerily familiar to me for some reason *cough* ...On the very top layer of it, I'm going to guess right off that he's shy. He could, unless you've already asked him, have class right after your class, or work after school. Doesn't sound like he's the most sociable person either, because he is probably just shy towards people in general. I'll agree that this can be a difficult situation to figure out. If you know that he actually doesn't have anything after class, then maybe try to find something to do with a group of friends that you can invite him to come with.
