Well, there is a guy at my school, we'll call him Kevin. Kevin is a total dork, but it is very obvious he likes me. A lot. I like him too, but quite as much. My friends think that I hate him, and are encouraging me to be mean to him and tell him not to love me. I have tried telling them to just drop the subject, and that I don't want to be mean, and that I am still going to talk to him no matter what they say. Well, now they are practically stalking me making sure I don't associate with him. They think their helping, but no matter how much I tell them their not, they just ignore me. I just need to know how to be able to talk to him without my friends getting crazy. Or can someone tell me how to get my friends to bug off and let me talk to this guy?
Wow you have some bitchy ass friends "be mean to him," well, I can't point the finger, I have friends like those too. They're not even friends, they're just acquaintances. Anyway, get the guy's number and call him (they can't stalk you at home too and make sure you don't call him, or if they can, your friends have no life). Other than this, just tell them that you want to talk to him and that you don't care what they think. However, I doubt you'll do this as it seems you don't have that much initiative. Just stick with option 1, that way your friends won't know :)
You realize that your actions are your own. Your friends cannot control who you're friends with, and if they try to control you, you do not want them as friends. Be your own person.
