This school year I've noticed this senior guy looking at me a lot. For instance, in the morning as I'm walking to class (after homeroom), I pass by him and my friend tells me that he looks at me when we (me & him) are walking right past each other, so it's impossible for me to see unless I turn my head (should I? ). I see him in the halls on my way to classes almost all day and at lunch, no matter where I'm sitting, he seems to walk by the table I'm at.
During basketball season, I went to a lot of the games, and he was at about every one. Once I hugged my guy friend and when I stepped back, I noticed he was standing at near the doors with his friend and they were looking at us.
Now on Wednesday, I was walking to class (after homeroom) alone (friend was gone), he comes through the door and moves over so he's walking right in front of me (he wasn't looking at me, he was looking across the gym). So I kept walking and when we got closer to each other, I moved over a little so I wouldn't walk right into him and we got really close. The next day, we got really close again (in the hallway this time) and during lunch, I looked up and he was walking past and I think he might have been looking at me, because he looked to the side quickly.
I've heard this guy is really shy and I'm shy too, but I really want to get to know him before he leaves high school. We've never talked before and I get a little nervous talking to guys. I've had a crush on him for a long time, but I don't know how to get things going. Advice?
I hope you guys can understand what I wrote. It's a little all over the place. I'd really appreciate any answers & thank you!
You should definitely look as you pass by him. You want him to know you're interested, right? So, yes, make eye contact and smile. He will smile back then you can try saying something really unexpected like "hi" and there's a pretty good chance he'll say "hi" back and there you go, you're talking to your crush. =) Remember, confidence is attractive. So do what he doesn't have the courage to do: break the ice! Hope this was helpful. :o)
