Me and this guy were talking for about 2 weeks straight 2 months ago. We met up in person everyday, talked on the phone, he even walked me to one of my classes. Then around Vday I found out from his friend that he thought we were getting "all deep" too quick, so I wrote him a note apologizing and telling him that I just wanna be friends. Ever since, he hasn't talked to me, called, texted, anything. When I see him in person, he smiles and waves. And sometimes talks to me as if nothing happened, but we don't talk unless we see each other. I still really really like him so does he still like me? What should I do?
How reliable is your information that you received from the "friend" you may have f***ed yourself here by writing him a letter putting him on notice and letting him know he is in the friend zone. Try talking to him and be a little aggressive. Tell him you miss the time you both used to spend together and you want to get some dinner or go somewhere fun. If he doesn't seem to be interested, then it's his loss. Go find someone else who is more than happy to take his place. - j
Why would you write him a note saying that you just wanna be friends while you wanted more? I probably would have just backed off just a little and see how he reacts. If he keep pursuing. Then that means his friend was full of shit. But anyway, it's too late for that now. I think you should try to approach him again. Asking how come he doesn't call anymore and that you kind of miss it. I think that will open up some conversations, then at that moment, you can bring up how his friend said something so that's the reason why you wrote him that note because you don't want to freak him out.
