I'm a 20 year old guy, I met this girl 2 months ago at the gym, and we have hung out only a few times, I tried to make a move the first time and she backed off. But then I took it slowly, now she can't go more than 2 days without IMing me or texting me? What does this mean? Yet last week I told her I was interested in her and she told me she doesn't feel that "connection" with me, "at least not yet". Yet she still continues to IM me and text me almost every day? I don't get it
She's having you on. Leading you up the garden path. Only wants to be friends. Best you can hope for is she maybe starts having casual sex with you but there's definitely not anything genuine in it. If she "doesn't feel a connection" yet after spending all that time IMing and texting, then she's not suddenly going to. If she doesn't fancy you after 2 months - she's not suddenly going to start. Are you sure there's no ex in the picture - is she maybe trying to make someone jealous? Someone else she likes maybe? Sorry to sound crude but it's definitely not any genuine romantic interest
