Without hurting her? It may be a little too late for that one, since you already excepted, but you can break it to her gently by saying something ending with "that's why I thought you'd make a good friend"and she'll get the picture.
Lie to her and say you are seeing someone outside of work. You can go to the movies with her but point out at that you will only be going as a friend and nothing more. If she asks who this other girl is, just say it's someone you met at the grocery store or waiting in line at the bank. Come up with something. If she asks to bring the girl you are seeing then reply with, "Sorry but I keep my work life and my private life separate. " If she keeps insisting on meeting this other girl then say, "I'm sorry but it's none of your business. " Remember, the more she insists, the harsher you get until she finally backs off.
