Okay so I'm a freshman and the guy I like is a senior well actually he's supposed to be a sophomore this year. "in his country" but since he's an exchange student he has to be a senior. I am beginning to think that he might like me. But I don't know. Like for the past couple of weeks he's been talking to me but not very much. And this past week every single day he's been talking to me about the most random things. Yesterday my school had a track meet and I went there to cheer on my friend because she was doing a couple of events, well this guy was there also and as I was talking to my friend right before she ran he came up to us and started talking toe me and acting like he was friends with my friend "which they aren't " any ways he was supposed to be doing one of his events and he almost missed it because he was to busy talking to me. Lol and then this morning in one of my hr. She asked me if I was friends with that grl and I said umm yes, then I asked him why and he said well because she's kinda annoying and I said I know. Then I said she thinks I'm annoying and he said don't listen to her he said your not annoying and he told me I was "cool" and then he asked me if I saw him run and I said yes I saw you do the hurtles and then he smiled and turned around but he kept talking to me about some random stuff, but I don't know if he's just being nice or if he likes me.
Watch out. He may like you, but I've seen some really nasty things happen with Foreign Exchange students. It sounds really mean to stereotype, but here, when there is a foreign kid, there is a mad rush to have sex with him. Girls (and in one odd case, guys) throw themselves at these "exotic men" that come from other lands. He may like you and it may be genuine, in which case, enjoy it before he has to go home. But he may also be playing you. There is a good chance that he never hears from you again, which makes you a great one-night stand.
Good luck with him, and have a good time, I'd say that he definitely likes you, but don't count on that too much.
A side note, since he is classified as a Senior, he may be fishing for Prom dates.
