Well basically I'm an delinquent who used to do stupid things, like selling drugs, and I used to hang out with a lot of gangsters I guess, sure it was fun at the time, doing stupid things, but I'm trying to get out now, I've stopped selling drugs, and I've kept my record clear for about 4 months now, anyways I'm so shy its not even funny, but this random girl just walks up to me, and she starts asking me questions, then I started asking her some questions and stuff, and she turned out to a girl I can trust, I feel I can say anything to her, but the weird thing is, she's actually a pretty/cute girl (sorry I really can't tell the difference) anyways she is good looking, basically the school I go to thinks I'm either a druggie, or a dealer, and I think its weird that a girl with a nice attitude who basically is a good girl, just comes up to me, and wants to do stuff, so what do girls think about an ex delinquent trying to get out? I mean I don't know if she will think its bad and stop talking to me, because some of her friends know the guys I used to hang out with, and I treat her nicely and all but I don't want her to stop talking to me, because of my past.

Lets go with the 90's. Put the past away. If she can't accept you as a changed person then she's not worth it. You want to be with someone who likes you flaws and all.

I think that you should explain to her that you're not in that life anymore. I believe in giving everyone second chances and it seems from what you're describing about her that she's a pretty cool girl. At least cool enough to see the whole picture of who you are before she makes any judgments. My ex boyfriend used to be into all kinds of stuff before he shaped up and he told me that he was scared that I would judge him when he finally admitted all the things he used to do. He was so surprised (and happy) when I did the complete opposite of judge. That was his past not his present. You may also want to check her out too. Some girls love that "bad boy" persona, so hopefully she hasn't heard the rumors and is attracted to you because she thinks that you're still in that life. Best of luck to you!

Question Asker Well she's heard about me before, and I admitted, but she said its kind of cool that I'm getting out, so I guess its good, sure I may not be a bad boy anymore, but I still sure can defend her and myself pretty damn well if anything happens. - 8 months ago
Answerer Not being a bad boy doesn't mean that you're a wuss. I think that the men who are able to still abide by the law but fight for what and who they believe in is 100 times more sexy then the ones who feel that they have "something to prove" by breaking the law. Keep up the good work! :-) - 8 months ago

Reminds me of a friend I had. Kind of like you---dealing drugs and such. One of the nice girls started talking to him, and turned out that at home she was so restricted by the parents, that she found my friends lifestyle amusing and appealing as she could have never imagine doing such things. So in her case she wanted to hang out with my druggie friend cause for her it was a complete, new adventure. Anyway, the first advice is great.

glowgirl3 I have a few friends like the girl that you're describing. They've been so sheltered their whole life that all they ever go for is that "bad boy." Not my thing but hey, to each his own. I'm guessing you gave me the rating so thanks! ;-). - 8 months ago
Question Asker Trust me, the lifestyle isn't too great after a while, after 22 arrests, and when your attending school and if you take a step back, you want to think it over. - 8 months ago
