This girl at work is really confusing me I want to ask her to prom but thought she had a boyfriend. I heard otherwise from one of her friends. Well I'm not sure if she likes me I know she enjoys talking to me and feels comfortable around me. Well the biggest hint that I saw that she might like me is at work I got in trouble talking to her lol and was sent to work in a different department the bakery (grocery store) She then said she would come by and say bye to me after work to me why would she go out of her way to say bye to me is this some kind of hint girls help guys also!

Friend zone. She just likes talking to you.

What I suggest you do is avoid her for a week or two, then start talking to her again, but use more sexual language and touch her more. Stop treating her like a pal and she'll do the same if she's attracted to you. There's a lot more to it than that, so if you want more advice just reply and we'll work forward from there.

Question Asker She went around asking people if they know whether I like her or not. - 7 months ago
Answerer In that case she's in to you. Still do what I advised before because if you come on to her now it may feel a little awkward. Giving things a week or two to simmer down before turning up the heat will make things flow more naturally. - 7 months ago
Question Asker She also comes by the department I work at in the store and says bye to me. I thought that was a sign. Question should I ask her to hang out before asking her to prom or will that sound like I'm asking her on a date what should I do. - 7 months ago
Answerer This is a tough case to read without seeing the body language you two have. Look for little tells that she's into you. Laughing at dumb jokes, touching her neck, flipping her hair, eyes dilated, etc. Those sub-communicate attraction. When you stand face to face does she seem uncomfortable. When sitting next to you, does she cross her legs towards you or away? - 7 months ago

Might be a hint, but might not be. Maybe she is being extra nice because you got in trouble for talking to her. Or maybe she is interested in you. Hey, here's an easy way to find out. Ask her out for a drink or an ice cream or something. If she says "yes", you can see how it goes, and then maybe take that opportunity to ask her to prom. Good luck!
