Are you really that intimidated by someone who could talk politics and moral philosophy? Do you really want a girl who only has the opinions you give her, or someone who can hold her own?

Don't you think it get boring talking to a mirror all day?

Moral philosophy

I'd love a girl that could hold a good intellectual conversation. And comparative debate.

Usually you need same or about same intelligent to be about to keep the conversation interested for both man and woman, having a girl who follow what opinion the guy give her or ask the guy opinion can be a turn on, at least to some guys, it shows the girl respect the guy but of course the girl must have own opinion once a while or else the guy might feel the girl isn't interested on the things he say.

Let's face it. Would you rather have lengthy debates on politics, or hot sex? Many people will choose the sex, but regardless of your personal answer, it'll help to look at it through that lens, and even though it is possible to have both hot sex and debates about politics, the politics talks will take away from the sex time, and they're not really turn ons, to be honest. Guys at first glance will be probably looking for someone who can turn them on, not someone who makes them think about those things, but that doesn't mean that they're so shallow that they won't stoop to think about those things at some point. The point of dating is kind of to get to know the other person, and so the point of the first impression is in that context is to find out whether they're someone you want to get to know or not, and when you have an attraction to a person, that's when you start getting to know them. This might not make much sense, but I hope it does.

g9g9g Just a guess, but have you actually been with a stupid girl before? The kind of girl who's so dumb your friends can't even hang around you two because of the incessant stupidity that pours out every time she speaks? The kind of girl who the only thing you can think when she speaks is "I hope she shuts up soon. "? No self respecting guy is going to stay in that for long. - 3 months ago
Answerer That, of course, is true. I go to a pretty good school, I'll have to admit, and there aren't too many girls that are that dumb, but even so, I'm mostly saying that intelligence isn't anywhere near everything. I'd rather have a not so smart girl who was nice and cared about me and turned me on than a girl who was at my intelligence level and disagreed with me because she could. And another point I was trying to make was that first impressions aren't everything, either. - 3 months ago

There's no universal answer for this, but here we go...

Dumb guys are going to want dumb girls, because they don't want to feel dumb or talked down to.

Smart guys are going to want smart girls, because they want real conversation and whatnot. I'm a smart guy, and a girl who's a bit nerdy (not necessarily in appearance) is a huge turn-on. I love being with a girl I can talk about quantum mechanics, determinism, and free will with and not get a blank stare.

All that being said, having equal intelligence isn't everything, and what I wrote above might not hold true for even half of the population. I know a female doctor who's married to a guy who flunked out of high school and their relationship is great (and it's not like he's a hunk either, just a genuinely good, self-less guy).

trickstir85 Intelligence is important. But, a person who has a sense of self-worth, confidence, genuine sense of wanting help others and is a respectful person is really important. I think even more than being a very intelligent person. IQ is one thing, but EQ (emotional intelligence) is quiet another. Some extremely intelligence people 'fail' in life due to a lack of EQ (emotional intelligence). They might be able to hold a convo a number of topics. But, in the same stretch they have poor EQ. - 3 months ago

Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 2 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?

What is your favorite outfit for a night out with friends?
Nothing too 'try hard'.
Probably a simple - figure flattering dress, which falls just above the knee, and a pair of cute heels. A simple bracelet and stud earrings.

How do you style your hair and do your make-up?
I wear minimal make-up, often none, but if I do it's just simple mascara and lip balm. My hair would be down in loose, natural looking curls.

Do I have style?
