I see her in the hallway a lot but I only have one class with her. She seems to have a smile on her face every time I pass her but she starts looking down when I try to make eye contact. I look over at her sometimes in class and I sometimes see her looking at me already. If I am at my locker she walks near where I am and is very quiet. The only few times I talked to her she was smiling a lot but we only spoke for about a couple minutes. I sometimes see some of her friends looking at me in the hallway but can never tell if they are talking about me or not. She is really smart and nice, but very shy. I am normally good at flirting with girls but I have never really dated a shy girl. Please help me with this.
I would just go up to her and talk some "small talk". Or maybe accidentally bump her in the hallway and say "oh I'm sorry about that, are you okay? " and do it on the way to the class you have with her, that way you can keep a conversation going. If you don't like that idea, then I would suggest just randomly talking to her in class or something. Ask her about her interests. See if she has a myspace or something. And when you get to know her better and if she still seems to like you a lot then you should definitely ask her out
