So I have had a huge crush on this guy in one of my classes and he was always making random eye contact with me in class. And outside of class. And just staring at me a lot. He tried to make me laugh a lot and he always got really close to me when we were doing labs. We became somewhat friendly with each other and would like say hi in the halls and stuff. I asked him to the dance and he said he wasn't going and my friend who goes to his church says that is because he is not allowed to go to dances. I saw him looking at me a lot still and so I finally just decided to tell him how I felt. And he said he didn't feel the same way but that we should be friends. And he apologized for if he had lead me on. Then I found out that he is not allowed to date or even give girls rides home. What does this all mean? I was almost positive he liked me. And now I'm just really confused.

He may like you, but it could be his religion. Some religions are pretty strict when it comes to dating and such. Just don't make a huge deal about it. You wants to be friend, so be happy with that!
