Is this true or just a myth?

Well personally I prefer older women, always have, I generally find that they are much more developed in most areas than their younger counterparts. Also they aren't afraid of taking what they want, or at least going for it. I'm 20 and prefer the 22-30 crowd personally. So, while most guys do prefer younger girls, I know plenty who are more than willing to be with older women.

A interesting point I would like to make, for most of my life some 90 something percent of girls/women I have been with or attempted to, when I was in high school and even in college now, most women will refuse to date a guy because he is younger than they are, even if everything else is going well. Some say it's the social taboo, others say it just won't work out and leave it at that, others say it is the financial difference with me still having a year of college left. I mean I'm not Mr. Rich, but I do make a decent living, and pay for my own college. I have had older women who would say, "you're awesome, just come back in a year or two when you're older. " This makes no sense. So possibly it's womens own faults that they can't get younger guys when they want us, my entire life women have turned me down mainly due to my age, some have seen through that, but for the most part, they find out I'm younger and they automatically turn me down.

So getting down to it, it seems women train guys to only want younger girls for years by turning us down from the beginning due to social status or whatever. Yet, later when they change their minds and want younger guys, they grope about it, why is it that guys only go for the young little things. Have you thought about that for years, younger is all that most of us could get, so we have grown accustomed to that. I was lucky that the women that I have been with were older and saw through my age, but most guys aren't so lucky, and even then I had to approach a lot of women before I found one who would say yes. Yet I had many younger girls going after me. So in my opinion older women need to be more sincere and aggressive with a younger guy if they want to keep him, as well as clarify it isn't just sex, I've had older women use me for just that, while I enjoyed it for awhile, eventually I want more than just sex.

So yes some of us men prefer older women and enjoy their company much more than younger girls, but more often than not we are turned down by them due to our own youthfulness, and we get turned off of failing all the time. I personally don't, but most guys do, just like girls don't like admitting they like a guy until it's a sure thing, we don't like pursuing women who say no all the time.

Truthfully (imo) it all depends on the person. You really can't help who you fall for. Yes true younger women will most likely look cuter or what not. But older women are more cultured and more mature. Me personally I'm 21 and for the time being I date around the 18-22 area. Older than that seems like they can't relate to me. Younger than that and than well yea not only is it illegal but they give me headaches with the ashley said this and brittney said that.
