Well I'd say he's interested. Probably wants to start off as friends and see where things go. I'd say call him up and ask him out for coffee or a couple drinks. Something to break the ice between you 2. Him telling you about his past relationships could be that he's trying to tell you what he dislikes/likes in a relationship and telling you what he wants out of his future could mean he's looking for a girl who's ready for commitment.
