Suggestions for first phone conversation please?

Think about what he does at work, what he went to school for, where he's lived, etc. But, mainly, talk about yourself, you're a girl and that's what you're supposed to do!

If he is political, think of something in the news, or if you know there is anything he can tell you a lot about ask him about that. He'll enjoy being asked about something that really interests him. Talk about places you've been, would like to go, ask him where he's been.

Remember, you two work together, the only thing that you had in common before you started talking was walking on the same office carpet; there will be a lot to learn about each other and it should be exciting for both of you.
