I'm 18 and have had a few boyfriends, but no one I've ever really been overly interested in. I've just started a new job and there's this guy. He's the first guy I've ever got butterflies over, and I get all flustered when he's around. I'm unsure if he's interested in me though. He hangs around a bit and he's always asking me how my uni work is going and teasing me. He's three or so years older than me as well, would this make any difference to him? I'd really appreciate any advice! How can I tell if he's interested in me? I've never been very good at realizing when a guy likes me, which I know sounds silly, but it's a bit annoying at times such as these. :)
Does he flirt with you? Besides the "work" talk? how does he act when he talks with you? Face expressions/ gestures etc.? when I like a girl , I want to get to know everything about her ( or almost) like what they did in the weekend , how their week was , what places she likes to go , music/movies etc. When you get to those type of convos and if we usually ask them , it means we like you or at least have an interest and want to get to know you better. Maybe you can ask some of those and see how he reacts.
Talking to you could be just after all, him just talking to you. Guys usually if interested will be playful like tease you or pick on you or make an excuse to touch you. It could be something as stupid as putting his hand on your shoulder or on your lower back. They basically will just be around you all the time or you will catch him watching you.
I wouldn't hope TOO much yet cause you'll just make it more disappointing for you if it doesn't work out the way you want it.
