There's this girl I know from work that I'm staring to like. I see her all the times, and I can see when she looks at me. I try to keep an eye contact but I can't I'm a very shy guy and it takes a lot for me to go up to a girl that I like, and start talking to her. On FRI I was talking to my friend at work close to the restroom and out of nowhere I hear someone saying I LIKE YOUR HAIR I didn't answer all she said was your suppose to say thanks, right away I apologized and told her I thought she was talking to my friend but didn't forget and I said THANKS. I was really weird since she has never spoken to me and out of no where just compliments my hair does this mean something? Sometimes I get the feeling that she does like me then this happens. Does this mean she likes me and wants to start a conversation with me now. PLEASE HELP!!!!
There is the possibility that she likes you. Giving you a compliment is her way of trying to get your attention. She wants you to talk to her. She realizes that you are shy and is trying to see how you feel and if you will take the bait. I know it is nerve wracking, but you MUST initiate a conversation. If you don't, she will lose interest and move on to someone who will talk to her. If you take the chance, who knows, she could like you too, and you guys could end up going out. If she doesn't like you, she won't rip your heart out and shred it. She will be friendly. Be brave and take a chance. What do you have to lose?
Well she probably likes you and notices your a shy guy so she wanted to try and talk to you and kinda get something going so next time you see her just talk about something at work or whatever and she'll talk to you ask her out for something like coffee or dinner or whatever and YAY!
I would say that she realizes you are shy and won't come up to her so she's trying to initiate a conversation. Her response to you not responding to her compliment was a teasing way to say 'hey, I just complimented you'...it's teasing and a bit flirty. But if you don't talk to her, where do you get the feeling that she likes you? I would say put your mind to a mindset that hey this is a girl I work with and would like to get to know better...and start a conversation or at least smile and say hi. She made the first move...now you follow-up. You could even joke back and say hey thanks for telling me what to do after someone compliments me...but in a smiley, joking way and see where it goes from there...
You what your saying makes a lot of sense. the reason I think she likes me is because she always looks at me everywhere I go and when I'm standing in a hallway when she sees me she tries to go another way all of this was before she gave me that compliment. also I don't know how to explain it but you get that feeling inside of you telling you she likes you. you think by her doing this its a sign that she likes me or is it to early to tell - 7 months ago

look get a grip this girl is showing you that she is noticing you by complimenting you she wants you to compliment her as well as maybe do a little of flirting, only if she is doing these three things. 1 giving you eye contact at all times,2always asking you questions about your life and past i.e. do you have a girlfriend or what are doing this weekend. and 3. do she sometimes put her hands on you in some kind of way.
