this is simple, I like my brothers best friend, who I subtly found out today has a girlfriend. but the thing is he's always flirting with me, I think. he winks at me, finds excuses to touch me, usually only comes to see my brother when I'm there and he sometimes stands really close to me. but now that I know that he has a girlfriend I know I need to back off, but why is he still flirting with me? :x CONFUSED
He has a girlfriend to which he isn't 100% head over heels with and sees you as a better (or potentially better) partner.
Sometimes guys just stay in the relationship for the hell of it. which is really dumb in my book. but that's not the discussion here.
Basically, just tell him softly that you find it a little odd that you are touchy feel with you when he has a girlfriend. I'm sure he will back off then. Make it sounds friendly so he doesn't get offended :)
You have reason to be confused. You have to wonder about a guy who has a girlfriend and flirts with others. Not wondering if you should let it continue (I don't think it's a good idea), but wondering why he expects to get away with it.
maybe he is a player. and sometimes guys don't even mean to flirt tho, they just do it without knowing it. but, most of the time, they do it on purpose, it sounds like he does, the thing I would do is, when you find out he is coming over, leave. another thing to do is tell him the situation and that you know he has a girlfriend. he may think you don't know, finally, it sounds like he likes you. tell him that when he brakes up with his girlfriend then he can flirt with you, but until then, stop, lol, I hope that this helps, keep me informed and good luck, Brittany!
