okay so I was after school with my best friend Mia on day and this kid I have never seen before comes up to me and asks me for my name and number ( I am not a very shy person) so I told him my name and I didn't give him my number. Everyone warned me about Damon (the guy) they all said he was this bad kid and he was just trying to get in my pants. And I believed them. Then one day he came near me and I ran away so he got my best friend Mia to talk to me and he told her " I am not trying to get in her pants I think she is really cute and I like her. So I went over to talk to him. so we hung out and we flirted and the next couple days I just can't get him off my mind so one day after school he had to leave so I hugged him good bye and he kissed me. So the next day I was planning to ask him out. But then this girl Lindsay asked him out. And he said yes. But while they were going out he was still flirting with me. Then he dumps Lindsay so I thought okay its my turn then this girl darcie asks him to the semi ( is like prom) he said yes. now they are going out and I still hang out with him everyday after school and he still flirts with me a lot and we kissed the other day but I am confused if he likes me and playing hard to get or is just playing me. HELP!
That is not a very easy situation to figure out. I think that at some point he did or still does like you. As far as the other girls beating you to the punch by dating him, that most likely is going to happen. Be careful, some guys like to string along girls so that they always have a back up plan. He might very well be putting you on the back burner, it is up to you if you are going to wait around for him, or if you are going to move on.
