I've been talking to this guy at work for the past 2-3 months. It is very obvious that we like each other. He displayed all body language that revealed his interest in me-from smiling, touching, introducing his son to me, and even meeting me at work to talk. Since I really like him and I believe he likes me, I decided to give him my telephone number on the last day of school which was last Thursday. (I am a teacher) When I gave him my number, he was so happy that he hugged me. He told me that we could keep in touch over the summer. As of today, Monday the 26th, he has not called me. I know that this is a holiday weekend, and he told me that he was taking his son back home which is in another state. However, I am getting concerned. Why hasn't he called me? What is taking him so long to call? Will he ever call me? Am I getting too frustrated too soon? What should I do?
it could b because of the holiday weekend or it could b that stupid guy calling rule, which is like wait 3 days after you get the number.its still pretty early I wouldn't worry bout it
Your case isn't as bad as mine, it's only been (from Thursday to Monday) hmmm 5 days, I would say that you shouldn't worry. From experience I can tell you that "signs" aren't always true, but I doubt that he has bad/malicious intentions, I am sure that something came up.
I would say that you should try to forget about the issue and I'm almost sure that you'll hear from him really soon!. Judging from what you told us. Yeah, don't worry!, just wait for him
However, if it's been (I usually give guys up to 2 weeks and I expect some crazy "I-was-chased-all-the-way-to-Rome-by-a-fire-breathing-dragon type of story by the end of the 2 weeks)more than 2 weeks I would say forget about him and find someone that is really worth it!
