I like him but we're in school and we have one week left,
I have no idea how to keep in touch with him.
I really want to but he's the kind of person who doesn't hang out with people thus it'd be weird to say "Hey give me you're # and we'll hang out some time"

Update: If you need more info he's shy but we talk, he's into music and he's kind of a nerd, and its the cutest thing ever I'm very outgoing and hang out with a wide range of people ahh most of them are on drug *not me personally*and are into rock/indie/and metal

yea I'm in the same situation with a girl and asking for his # works out fine just give him a reason why you want it, ask me if you want an example, but you could stay in touch with him without having to ask him for his # by just using myspace or facebook.

What kind of guy is he? What stereotype? Is he shy, outgoing, lonely, etc? What kind of girl are you? This information would help me understand what would be the best way of approaching him.
Also, do you talk with this guy much? Are you friends? Would you just be randomly going up to a stranger and giving him a phone number?
Depending on exactly what kind of guy he is, going up to him and just giving him your number and saying, "Hey, I'd really like it if you called me over the summer." and flash him a bigggg smile, and say, "I hope to hear from you," might actually work.
You might give him an email or instant messenger address.
The sooner you update the question the sooner we can get you and this guy hitched :)
Alright, it seems like you can just go up to him with a smile on your face and say (only if you've talked to him before), "Hey, do you want to hang out sometime over the summer?"
or "Hey, do you wanna keep in touch over the summer?"
or "Hey, do you have an aim or msn messenger name?"
You can ask to hang out with him without being as blunt as, "Here's my phone number and let's hang out." - 2 months ago
