Well, start out slow; if she continues doing this, ask her about it. If you like her like you say you do and she seems to like you back after a while, then jump on the chance of going out with her before somebody else does!

but please, for the sake of my sanity, do not call yourself a geek. getting straight A's does not make you a geek. it means that you are determined and intelligent. both are very comely characteristics. I have a 4.71 gpa, start on my school's varsity lacrosse team and wear glasses (or contacts). I wear nice clothing and stay very clean. I listen to emo music. I write poetry and short stories for fun. people tried to label me, but gave up. basically, be what you are and be good at it, and from the sound of it you are too. now sack up and go talk to her!
